Job Description

What You'll Get to Do:

As a Senior Customer Services and IT Officer you will provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations and monitoring and problem resolution. You will provide customer service to customers experiencing IT issues via phone/remote desktop support sessions.

More About the Role:

* Will monitor systems and networks on 12-hour rotating shifts, from 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM, every other Wednesday through Saturday
* Utilize honed customer service skills to thoroughly and efficiently troubleshoot and resolve issues and errors for users
* Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
* Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
* Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by employees
* Walk the user through the problem-solving process and will direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

* TS/SCI w/ poly is required
* BA/BS and 5+ years of providing support to IT systems
* Must have experience providing customer service in an IT service desk environment
* The candidate must have excellent communication skills
* Must have knowledge of administrative tools and consoles
* Have proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role
* Must be tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control
* Must have the ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

* Knowledge of VEGAS, Nagios, and HP Open View is desired
