The Cisco Level 3 Customer engineer provides direct support to Cisco Systems, Inc. In this role, you will work with the client to resolve customer problems or incidents until the situation has been resolved to the customer's satisfaction and/or in compliance with agreed upon Service Level Agreements. Under Cisco's direction, you may work independently or assist Customer Engineers to support high complexity equipment in a networking environment. Primary services include hardware maintenance & repairs, upgrades, installation services, network management, multi-vendor maintenance & data center support.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

* Perform hardware break-fix, upgrades, installation, maintenance and repairs.
* Perform work on medium-high complexity equipment.
* Provide continuity of customer operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Manage customer incidents as assigned.
* Build working relationships with customers and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
* May provide technical support to Field Technicians (both NCR and non-NCR) as directed.
* Assists in site preparation including cable installation, staging and standard testing of equipment
* Project work and other jobs according to statement of work.
* Work in accordance with customer's policies, processes and procedures.
* Ability to make decisions and solve problems using sound judgment and experience
* Represent NCR and Cisco in a manner that reflects positively on the image and reputation of the respective companies.

Minimum Qualifications

* Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
* Must have a valid driver's license
* Must pass comprehensive background check including credit check, criminal, driving record, and drug screen.
* Must have the ability to carrying and lifting tool kit/parts of varying weights (1- 50 lbs.)
* Cisco Router/Switch (CTRS)/ Cisco UCS (CCTDC) or higher Cisco certification
* 2 year degree in electronics or computer technology
* At least 2 years of hands-on networking repair experience in a customer field environment
* Experience supporting Cisco UCS products
