Curriculum Platform Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Curriculum Platform Engineer who will focus on taking our Curriculum-supporting systems to the next level and help build and maintain a new delivery platform. This role will work with all areas of the Splunk product, as well as design and implement integrations with 3rd party systems.

Responsibilities:

* Develop systems integrations between Splunk Software, Learning Management Systems, and eLearning applications
* Help design and develop user interfaces for the delivery platform
* Architect and deploy HA/DR Splunk lab environments on Amazon EC2 for self-service lab activities
* Write native Splunk applications or scripts to grade lab activities
* Port existing lab environments between AWS accounts
* Provide mentorship and develop or improve "lifelike" data generators
* Identify areas for improvement or automation across all Curriculum systems

Requirements:

* You have a minimum of 3 years hands-on Splunk administration experience
* Have a deep understanding of AWS EC2
* Experience with AWS S3
* Python, JavaScript, and general scripting experience

Education:

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in a related field is required.
