MS Investment Management (IMIT) Technology

Morgan Stanley Investment Management (IMIT) Technology exclusively partners with the Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) business division to design and develop systems and integrate vendor products to globally support full life cycle business processing. Activities include Portfolio Analysis, Risk, Trading, Operations, and Sales & Marketing. Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) Technology also provides holistic support and quality assurance across the suite of applications used in the MSIM environment.

Role Requirements:

The individual should have a strong technology background, be a self-starter and be able to work independently on small /medium size Compliance IT Initiatives in the Asset Management area of the firm. Should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be able to interact with a global user base and other stake holders within the firm. Experience in working on similar best of breed Vendor Compliance tools like Sentinel, Compliance Master etc along with a good understanding of different asset types like Equities, Fixed Income, derivatives, OTC products will be a plus.

Qualifications:

* Strong understanding of Core-Java, object oriented programming and design patterns.
* Excellent understanding of SOA architecture and middleware technologies Spring/MVC /Multithreading/JAXB including protocols like SOAP and REST.
* Good Understanding of Python or Perl will be helpful.
* Good understanding of Databases (MS SQL Server & Sybase).
* Good understanding of Software Version Control, deployment tools Perforce, Jenkins CI build & SDLC Lifecycle.
* Experience in Investment Management Compliance (understanding of Derivatives, OTC products) will be a plus.
* Basic understanding of C# and .NET based WPF/WCF implementations will be a plus.
