Overview

The PTO and Benefits Systems Support Coordinator administers the day-to-day activities related to HMH benefit program administration; Health and Welfare, Life Insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, Absence Management and Paid Time Off (PTO). Working collaboratively with HRIS, Payroll and IT teams to assist with data management, systems implementations and reporting. This position is responsible for the maintenance of the on-line eligibility system for the benefit plan and payroll processing support.

Responsibilities

1. Reviews and interprets HMH benefit plans and programs policy and procedures. 2. Assists team members with benefits enrollment via MyWay. 3. Assists in any design, implementation and conversion of the MyWay/BenAdmin system. 4. Provides technical assistance in order to resolve system problems and assist with on-going training and documentation. 5. Provides assistance to end users in the department in the retrieval of information from databases and assists in automating work flows utilizing excel and access spreadsheets. 6. Oversee benefits enrollment and file interfacing between vendors. 7. Routinely audit benefits databases and processes for compliance. 8. Work with HRIS, IT and Payroll to ensure timely/accurate Absence Management/PTO tracking. 9. Provide administrative support for bi-weekly payroll processing. 10. Ability to work flexible hours to support payroll processing and occasional modifications in payroll calendar due to holidays. 11. Responds timely to Team Member Support Services cases. 12. Assist in implementing new procedures, ensures adherence to procedures and controls, and make recommendations to improve existing procedures. 13. Assist and support other benefit-related activities as they arise. 14. Adheres to HMHs Organizational Competencies and standards of behavior.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 1. Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. 2. 1 - 3 years benefits experience. 3. Proficiency in computer skills. 4. Strong analytical skills.
