What You'll Get to Do:
Independently, under minimum supervision, the Contractor Program Security Officer will serve as the primary support for Special Access Programs (SAPs).

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and monitor sensitive aspects of government agencies' industrial security programs, ensuring compliance with government and company security policies and procedures
Protect classified government information and manage TS/SCI personnel security clearances and processes
Conduct initial and on-going security training and education briefings
Prepare for and participate in Security audits/inspections
Manage and administer routine aspects of industrial security programs and supports Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAPs) in compliance with the NISPOM, DoD SAP Security Manual, JAFAN's, DCID's, ICD's and other applicable government security directives associated with SCI/SAP security programs
Develop, implement and monitor SAP/SCI security policies and procedures
Ensure compliance will all aspects of the security program
Establish and maintain a working relationship with all government agencies while building/managing SCI Facilities/SAP Facilities as well as filing necessary clearance paperwork for employees, candidates, and consultants
Assist personnel in completing SF86 packages and fingerprinting
Use JPAS and other special access sites to process, track and maintain clearances
Coordinate with customer security representative to process security clearance requirements
Coordinate periodic reinvestigations with employees
Provide guidance and instruction to employees to ensure completion of security paperwork
Review all security paperwork for accuracy, completion and submission via the e-QiP systems
Create reports and maintain documents and/or databases to accurately track candidates through the security process from initial clearance submission until they are adjudicated
Maintain SAP visitor control functions
Prepare visit authorization letters (VARs)
Develop and provide new employee security briefings, exit interviews and debriefings
Investigate and report security violations and incident reports
* Work closely with the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in preparing DD254 forms for subcontractors
Conduct self-inspections in preparation for security audits
Maintain a working relationship with each contract's security office for processing and maintaining employee clearances
Provide follow-up clearance status on processed clearances to manager for specific contracts
Prepare written reports of surveys and inspections
Maintain all security documentation and files in accordance with government requirements
Prepare necessary paperwork in support of government investigations or annual visits and meet with government representatives upon request
Travel to other CACI Locations or Customer Sites as necessary
Understand and adhere to all Ethical and Compliance policies
Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to EH&S policies and procedures
Perform other duties as required
If required, obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level required to perform the duties of the position
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree
Experience:
2-4 years security related experience
Working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating manual (NISPOM).
Required Skills:
Basic knowledge of building, accrediting, and managing SCIFs/SAPFs across various government agencies
Experience in the U.S. Government, Department of Defense, Intelligence, and Industrial Security
Practical knowledge of and experience with JPAS and e-QiP
Working knowledge of SIMS
Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required, including Microsoft SharePoint
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated effective teamwork skills

COMSEC Custodian Certification
Active TS, TS-SCI, or TS-SCI with Polygraph security clearance
