Job Description

This is a Senior Configuration Analyst position which reports into the Owego site CM manager in the RMS Engineering & Technology Enterprise Engineering and Leadership Excellence (EELE) Center of Excellence (COE). This mission critical position is located at the Lockheed Martin Bothell, WA site and will support multiple Bothell programs such as CRFLM, HELIOS, AHEL and HEL-TVD. This position will include collaboration with hardware CM leadership and with other organizations to establish comprehensive hardware configuration management plan and processes which satisfies the needs of the program and aligns with RMS CDM command media. The position will require coordination and execution of Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs).

As the configuration analyst on the Bothell team you will be called upon to independently solve complex problems and manage the configuration of product and documentation baselines throughout its lifecycle. This position requires daily collaboration with the entire program team to remove obstacles, resolve issues quickly, maintain consistency, and drive productivity while ensuring control and integrity of the baselines. You will demonstrate ownership of various system configuration processes and will participate in all phases of the development cycle including design, production, and testing.

Basic Qualifications

Demonstrated strong background with Configuration Management (CM). Understanding/knowledge of related disciplines, particularly familiarization with Hardware Engineering methods and processes.

Demonstrated experience with RMS CDM processes and knowledge of CDM command media. Ability to conduct and facilitate Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) to manage changes to hardware baselines. Experience with Class I Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and related processes for preparing, managing, and submitting them.

The ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams is essential. Proven leadership skills which include a strong ability to manage projects and tasks independently. Strong ability to multi-task with demonstrated strong verbal and written communication, coordination, and planning skills. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience providing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for costing activities (i.e. proposals).
