Responsibilities
Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) has an entry-level Configuration Analyst position for recent college graduates to join our Configuration Management team located in Marlborough, MA. Position responsibilities include performing configuration management with the use of CM tools for configuration identification, configuration control, configuration status accounting; configuration verification and baseline audits; and problem identification and resolution.
Everyday responsibilities range from establishing and maintaining the program's configuration controlled baseline, providing CM support to engineering teams and program management, improving the program CM processes and interfacing with other engineering disciplines to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems. The role requires attention to detail with respect to managing engineering work products, maintaining program artifacts and repositories, and strong presentation skills.
The ideal candidate works independently while supporting team goals and communicate program activities. During peak periods, the candidate may be required to work after hours to support team goals.
Required Skills:
* Experience working in a team environment
* Understanding of basic configuration management concepts
* Strong communication skills
* Experience with Microsoft office tools advanced features: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
* Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent tasks
* This position requires the ability to access systems that contain information restricted US Citizens based on certain Federal Government contractual requirements.
Desired Skills:
* Experience working in a Software or Hardware development team environment, interfacing with Software, Hardware, Systems or Test engineers
* Experience with Configuration Management
* Experience with CM tools applicable to Product Data Management and Data Management
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree obtained within the past 18 months or by Spring 2019 in Accounting or a related field. A cumulative GPA of 3.0+ is strongly desired. Please include your GPA and transcript with your resume.
