A successful candidate coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as software, specifications, reports, and related project data. Reviews contract to determine requirements for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes. Analyzes proposed changes to ensure all affected products have been identified. Reviews and analyzes products for release to ensure contents, format, and markings are free of errors prior to submitting final approval. Participates in Program Boards, provides status reports and metrics and supports audits as required.
Candidate will execute the tasks associated with the processing, management and control of work products in accordance with the five Configuration Management (CM) functions.
* Planning and management
* Configuration and identification
* Change management
* Configuration status accounting
* Audits
Tasks include reviewing and processing initial releases and changes to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, CM plan, and internal processes and procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree & 3 years of configuration management experience, OR a Master's Degree & 1 year of configuration management experience
* Experience with configuration management software or software CM field
* Current and active DoD Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience using clearquest
* JIRA experience
* TeamCenter enterprise experience
