We are currently seeking a Computer Systems Analyst 2

This position is for a project manager/project engineer reporting to the Air Vehicle Integrated Product Team (AV IPT) Integration Manager. The AV IPT is responsible for the design, development, manufacturing, testing and maintenance of the unmanned high altitude air vehicle commonly known as the Global Hawk.

Position requires the ability to estimate and develop cost and schedule plans for technical projects and manage it through the entire period of performance with moderate to minimal supervision. The responsibilities consist of the following: manage complex problems and issues; export data from various data sources, integrate, analyze and report results; forecast, plan and secure resource requirements; identify process improvement, risks and opportunities; estimate and provide back-up data analysis to support the required engineering effort for current or future statement of work; document and store information in knowledge management repositories. Be able to analyze and convey cost, schedule and technical performance to IPT leads, Program Managers, engineering or business team members. Be able to facilitate or lead technical and/or business team members to solve complex problems, recommend and implement solutions. Have a general understanding of the common work products of the Air Vehicle IPT. Provide granular to top level briefings on status as needed.

The position requires interfacing with IPT leaders, Program Managers, and various other engineering and business team members. This role necessitates the ability to assess when to elevate issues to leadership.

Required Experience

Excellent written or verbal communication skills in English is expected.

Demonstrates flexibility and ability to handle other various tasks as assigned including administrative projects, data mining and analysis, as well as development of metrics.

Prefer expertise in Microsoft (MS) Project with extensive experience in building schedules, advanced experience in MS Excel and Access with some experience MS Visual Basic or MS Office VBA. Prefer expertise in SharePoint.

Prefer advanced understanding of the Earned Value Management System.

Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math required. Project Management certification is preferred.

Basic Qualifications

2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Masters

Preferred Qualifications

PMP or PMI Certification a plus

Ability to obtain DOD Secret Clearance
