Job Description

Rutgers University-Newark, is an urban public research university and anchor institution, located in Newark, New Jersey, a city of promise, is seeking a Computer Services and Data Manger for the School of Public Affairs and Administration (SPAA) which will report to the Associate Dean for Finance.

The Computer Services and Data Manger (Temporary) duties include but are not limited to:
* Provides technical support, assistance, and consultation to students, faculty and staff on computer and technology items and equipment.
* Configures, maintains, repairs and provides troubleshooting for SPAA's desktop and laptop equipment.
* Installs software and installs SPAA computers and printers for end-user use.
* Manages SPAA's print services and manages accounting, networking and consumables. Items include copy machines and office printers.
* Supports and maintains computing and conferencing technology for SPAA conference rooms and classrooms.
* Provides set-up and support for live streaming and video recording of workshops and conference events.
* Works with the Office of Information Technology on the deployment of SPAA's Cisco AMP organization and resolves vulnerability tickets as assigned.
* Works with the Office of Information Technology on the deployment of SPAA's KACE organization to facilitate device management and scripting.
* Maintains inventory of SPAA hardware and processes transfers of excess or damaged equipment to University surplus.
* Oversees the school's internal Student Relations (Salesforce) Database. Responsible for database design and maintenance to support administrative needs such as graduate admissions, advising, and stakeholder relations, and performance assessment.
* Collects and cleans student data from Rutgers Grad Portal and RU-N4Success databases.
* Prepares various data reports and forecasts for the Dean and Associate Deans.
* Designs, maintains and may conduct a variety of Qualtrics surveys.
* Other duties as assigned.
