Raytheon IIS is seeking a Computer Security Professional to serve as a member of a small team that utilizes cyber
tools and knowledge of computer attacks to identify computer and network vulnerabilities and recommend actions to protect against them. Primary duties will include but not be limited to drafting test plans to assess vulnerabilities,
conducting vulnerability tests using commercial and Government tools, documenting test results, and coordinating test results with other Government organizations. Additional duties will include preparing written reports and making oral
presentations. Some domestic and foreign travel may be required. Junior and Senior level candidates will be considered as reflected in the required qualifications.
Candidates must have a TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance to be
2+ years experience (Junior level) or 10+ years experience (Senior level) in
the Information Technology field.
2+ years experience (Junior level) or 10+ years experience (Senior level) with
computer and network security applications and techniques, including firewalls,
intrusion detection systems, virtual private networks, encryption techniques,
and disaster recovery systems.
2+ years experience (Junior level) or 10+ years experience (Senior level) in at least one of
the following: shell scripting, Windows/Unix/Linux operating systems,
relational databases, SQL querying languages (Oracle, Microsoft, SQL, Infomix
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours with short notification.
GIAC GPEN Certified Penetration Tester
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science; equivalent education and
experience may be considered.
This position can be salary grade E02, E03, E04 or E05 based on the
candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and
responsibility requirements for the position. This is a multi-level requisition
as junior and senior level candidates will be considered.
