We're currently seeking a Collaboration Specialist with deep SharePoint Online experience who will help Sovos Brands staff and external partners stay connected in a variety of ways to simplify the overall collaboration experience. This will be done by leveraging the collaboration tools provided by Microsoft Office 365, with a heavy emphasis on SharePoint Online. Best-in-class collaboration and process capabilities are a key part of the Sovos IT strategy.

About the position:

Works with internal departments to understand their collaboration, workflow, and business process challenges and designs best-in-class sites and tools using SharePoint Online, other O365 solutions, and third-party software that add value to the SharePoint/O365 products. Designs secure, modern, and functional sites and other solutions to streamline processes and collaboration. Develops training and knowledge transfer to ensure company understanding of how to use collaboration solutions remains high.

What you'll do?

* Work with all Sovos business functions to understand their collaboration, process automation, workflow, and other collaboration needs. Collaboratively design solutions that meet needs and exceed expectations.
* Creates sites and other SharePoint Online objects for robust, secure, modern, and well-designed solutions and process flows. Complexity of site and collaboration solution ranges from simple (document sharing) to complex (business process workflow and tracking).
* Administers key SharePoint Online features like search, shared metadata, site collections and other core technologies.
* Serves as primary administrator for SharePoint Online and related collaboration technologies.
* Leverages workflow and notification tools like Microsoft Flow or 3rd Party Solutions.
* Oversees external collaboration governance in conjunction with the VP of IT.
* Develops and delivers training materials to collaboration users to increase their knowledge and effectiveness.
* Understands related collaboration technologies like OneDrive for Business, Flow, Teams, Skype for Business, Outook, etc. in order to leverage them as a part of overall collaboration solutions.
* Leads projects to migrate legacy file sharing solutions to O365. Evaluates and leverages 3rd party migration solutions as need.
* Either performs coding using SPFx or related languages or directs 3rd party partners who perform coding for advanced SharePoint or other collaboration solutions.
* Constantly stays abreast of new capabilities and features in SharePoint Online and the O365 platform to ensure we are leverage the full capabilities of O365/SharePoint Online.
* Manages projects and deliverables to ensure timely delivery of commitments.

What Qualifications/skills do you bring?

* Bachelors or Associates degree in Information Technology or Business, or relevant experience.
* 3+ years SharePoint experience delivering a wide range of solutions, from simple to complex. SharePoint Online experience using Modern sites preferred.
* 2+ years of experience using any workflow solution that integrates with SharePoint or SharePoint online. Experience with Flow and PowerApps a plus.
* Knowledge and experience with SPFx, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript a plus.
* Passionate about SharePoint Online and other collaboration technologies and their ability to make collaboration, document sharing and access, and connections easier.
* Strong ability to collaborate across teams to understand business challenges and design modern sites and solutions.
* Excellent communication skills - able to present options and solutions in a way that can easily be understood by business users. Develops training and how-to documents for end-users and other IT staff.
* Detailed oriented and persistent - actively works to find the best solution possible while balancing time commitments.
* Ability to work on multiple tasks and to self-manage deliverables, meetings, and information gathering.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
