Become an integral part of a diverse team in the Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) Group. Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission oriented CNO Developer, in the Herndon, VA area, with strong Customer relationships. At ManTech, you will help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.

The Innovative Security Solutions (ISS) Division provides cyber solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations. Our customers have high standards, are technically adept, and use our products daily to support their mission of protecting national security. Our contributions to our customer's success is driving our growth.

A qualified candidate will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:

* Perform as a technical expert in the design development, coding, testing, and debugging new software or complex enhancements to existing software.
* Work within a development team to understand and to develop resolution of software problems.
* Resolve customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements.
* Assist in the training of less experienced software development staff and may act as a team leader on less complex projects.
* Provide computer forensic and intrusion support to high technology investigations in the form of computer evidence seizure, computer forensic analysis, data recovery, and network assessments.�
* Conduct vulnerability assessments/penetration tests of information systems.
* Research and maintain proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities, data hiding and network security and encryption.
* Assist in deterring, identifying, monitoring, investigating and analyzing computer network intrusions.

Position Requirements:

* BS degree in one of the following disciplines: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent, and 5+ years of relevant experience.
* At least 3 years of programming knowledge/experience with either Windows Kernel, C, C++, Python or Assembly Language and the ability to work in a team environment.
* A passion for low-level software engineering.
* Ideal candidates will be experienced low-level / kernel programmers whose capabilities should include expert-level knowledge in one or more of the following subject areas:Strong grasp of operating system fundamentals, including interrupts, threading, virtual memory, device drivers and memory management techniques; Knowledge and understanding of operating system internals, device drivers, integration of code with the operating system kernel, reverse engineering, and Intel x86 assembly; and, experienced with code and resource optimization.
* Previous professional development experience in Windows and Linux environments.

Security Clearance Requirement:

Must be a US Citizen, and ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance is required. Active/current Secret or higher clearances are highly preferable.
