Monitors, evaluates, and maintains systems and procedures to protect the data systems and databases from unauthorized users. Identifies potential threats and responds to reported security violations. Determines causes of security breaches. Researches, recommends, and implements changes to procedures to protect data from future violations. Assist in educating users on security procedures. Requires Bachelors degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and zero to two years of related experience.
The Intern will be a member of our Development and Security Research team. This team conducts both internal and client driven security research against mobile/embedded platforms and supporting infrastructure. The successful candidate must be an enthusiastic and passionate security professional.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Design, develop, and troubleshoot software programs
Thoroughly document, in a manner suitable for widespread publication, design and implementation details of software systems
Participate in peer code reviews
Desired Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Must hold or be eligible for security clearance
Experience writings programs in C or C++
Experience debugging applications (WinDbg, OllyDbg, gdb)
Strong verbal and written communication skill
Desired Skills / Experience / Qualifications:
Familiarity with assembly for one or more architectures (x86/x64, ARM, MIPS)
Familiarity with at least one mobile or embedded platform programming environment
Experience with a scripting language such as Python, Ruby or Perl
Degrees:
High School Diploma or GED Certificate,Equivalent ExperienceEducation
Skills:
Ability to handle stress and work well under pressure,Ability to use PC,Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills,Listening Skills
