We are seeking a software engineer with deep knowledge of cloud technologies to manage the day to day operation of an advanced data analysis platform. You will help drive our long term DevOps strategy and contribute to the overall development roadmap. You are hands on and will be a significant contributor to our development effort. Our product is used by clinical customers who require an ultra-reliable, high quality software solution to support their activities. Your ability to deliver a complex production system at high availability will ensure that our technology meets the demands of these users.
Who we are
We are a fast-growing early stage company, passionate about increasing the information content of molecular diagnostics data to drive better decision-making. We use state of the art methods to analyze and improve information content from widely used life science instruments. You will join a team of software developers and scientists in a well-funded, exciting startup environment. We are developing analytical, statistical, and visualization algorithms and implementing tools and software pipelines used to analyze large multidimensional biological datasets, e.g. DNA/RNA data.
What you will be responsible for
* Automating deployment of AWS based services and applications * Builds, releases and configuration management of production systems * Evaluating new technologies and products to support cloud operations * Ensuring critical system security utilizing best-in-class security solutions * Developing a compliance strategy to provide our solutions in regulated environments

* Basic understanding of SQL and NoSQL technologies * Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services * Familiarity with Nginx and related technologies * Experience with security and privacy regulatory frameworks such as ISO27001 and HIPAA
