The Opportunity: Joining the One Commercial Partner team as a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) means you will be playing a critical role helping Microsoft Partners to capitalize on the $2.2 trillion-dollar Digital Transformation market opportunity by 2019 - a 60% increase since 2016. Overseeing Digital Transformation Success: The CSA plays a critical role in working with partners to provide deep Azure technical support through solution build and first mile customer engagements including Proof of Concepts, Architectural Design Sessions (ADS), Hackathons

The Role: The CSA is a Solutions Architect building relationship with partner technical and development resources designing and architecting new solutions based on Microsoft's Azure cloud platform and technologies. CSAs deliver value via a portfolio of service delivery engagements optimized to accelerate partner solution builds and first mile customer wins.

A Solutions Architect: The CSA Is a technology expert who stands out because of their deep solutions knowledge. They can go toe-to-toe with Microsoft's Azure engineering teams and blackbelts often surfacing product issues, feeding back value data and insights that accelerate fixes and updates.

Partner Types Managed: The CSA works across partner types including ISV, MSP, CD and SIs.

We are looking for new Cloud Solution Architect to the Azure Apps team in the partner organization in Western Europe. As we don't expect everyone to be an Azure expert just yet, we will help with that as we do expect you to be a fast learner. We want you to have skills, experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

modern cloud application architecture (e.g. PaaS, Serverless, API Management), container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cloud Foundry), continuous integration technologies (e.g. Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure DevOps, Chef, Puppet), web application server technologies, cloud application design, software architecture and practices (design/development/deployment, Agile, SCRUM, ALM), one or more of the following programming languages: C++, C#, Java, Node.js, JSON, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby on Rails, Pig/Hive.

This Cloud Solution Architect role is a deeply technical role, working with our partners to build technical capability, create innovative solutions to their business challenges and uncover new workloads that could be migrated to Azure.

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Cloud Solution Architect to drive partner initiatives on the Microsoft Azure Platform, in close collaboration with the rest of the partner organization.

This role will work with the Azure technical partner engagement including: architectural design sessions, build technical skills and proofs of concepts as well as collaborating with other parts of Microsoft and our partners, always with the partners needs at the heart of everything you do.
