Job Summary: We are looking for a cloud security engineer to assist with the design, automation development and deployment of network segmentation leveraging VMware NSX-V and NSX-T. The candidate should be familiar with information security concepts, cloud computing, computer networks, automation and front-end, and back-end development.

Job Description: As part of this role you will work with a team of talented engineers tasked with building a large scale network segmentation solution securing the organization's private and hybrid cloud. Your skills and experience will help to enhance and maintain a solution built with Java, MongoDB, IBM API Connect, and VMware technologies (vRealize Orchestrator, vCenter, NSX-V/NSX-T, Log Insight Manager) and Splunk. You will also have a unique opportunity to work with various security technologies, leading products and providers in the private and hybrid cloud space.

Qualifications

Job Skills/Qualifications:

* Highly motivated self-starter who enjoys engineering challenges and learning new tools and technology


* Good oral and written communication skills


* Ability to work with peer security teams in collaborative ways


* Minimum 1 year of Java and Java Script coding


* Knowledge of:
* Front-end and back-end development


* RESTful APIs


* VMware technology including NSX is desired but not crucial




* Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or a related field
