Job Description

What you will do

You will be working on our Cloud based RFID solution which allows retailers to count inventory in their stores in minutes, locate products that are out of stock and replenish them quickly to maximize sales opportunities. As a leader in the retail store space, including inventory and loss prevention solutions, 80% of all retailers use our Sensormatic products to power their future growth.

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer III to join our team to assist us in developing both Cloud-based microservice performance tests (via our REST endpoints) as well as demonstrating excellence in automating core use cases on the; Web, iOS, and Android platforms.

We are in the process of setting up a continuous integration (CI) lab in which test cases from: iOS, Android, and Web will run automatically on new builds as they are created in our TEST and DEV environments.

How you will do it

We are using the following tools to do automation in our environment: JAVA-TestNG (back end REST APIs), Selenium (Web), and Appium (iOS and Android).

In addition we have developed an initial suite of performance tests which run on JMeter and we are also looking to having this run as well in our CI environment.

What we look for

Required

* Programming proficiency in either JAVA or C# (all development work will be done in JAVA)
* Understanding of microservices and RESTful Web Services
* Familiarity with automation concepts for Web, iOS and Android
* Familiarity with performance testing and experience with a variety of performance test tools
* Experience with one or more database technologies
* Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to learn new tools and technologies with minimal guidance

Preferred

* BS in Computing Science
* 2 years programming in JAVA
* Experience working in a UNIX/Linux environment
* Familiarity with cloud technologies
* Experience with Agile methodologies
* Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
