Job Description

Deloitte Cloud Managed Services (CMS) is a cloud offering to provide professional services to manage clients' cloud environments including infrastructure operation, cloud security, compliance and risk, and billing. To make sure CMS business grows smoothly, Business Operations team will work with CMS leadership and Finance to manage all financial tasks and mitigate financial risks in additional to other operational tasks.

Work You Will Do

Our practitioners work collaboratively within integrated, cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive strategies that enable Cloud and Infrastructure transformations. Teamwork is crucial as teams are composed of a diverse group of specialists across multiple disciplines from both within our consulting practice and from our clients, helping drive towards a successful outcome. Our practitioners are expected to own and deliver their respective deliverables while managing different clients and other stakeholders

The team

Cloud Engineering

Our Cloud Engineering team focuses on enabling our client's end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of: Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. We help our clients see the transformational capabilities of Cloud as an opportunity for business enablement and competitive advantage.

Cloud Engineering supports our clients as they improve agility and resilience, and identifies opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud. We accelerate our clients towards a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions and Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators.

Qualifications

Required

* 2+ years of relevant cloud operations management.


* Experience with AWS, Microsft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform operations is a plus


* Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems, or Life Sciences applications is a plus


* Broad technical background with knowledge of systems sizing and architecture


* Experience with SDLC for Custom Development projects, working in a Production Support Organization using Middleware, Open Source and Microsoft packages a plus.


* Strong working knowledge of with ITIL service management processes, and ITIL certification, is a plus


* Experience developing statements of work and/or client proposals


* Prior Big-4 consulting experience highly desired


* Creative person who has developed innovative approaches to developing solutions


* Goal oriented with high standards for quality and performance


* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills


* Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.


* Eagerness to mentor junior staff.


* Bachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent professional experience.
