We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Cloud Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.

Duties:

* Design and configure cloud infrastructure to support cloud migrations and transformation for small to medium size initiatives
* Provide technical administration to include troubleshooting support, break-fix operations, patching, and other day-to-day activities required to maintain the health of servers and applications hosted in the cloud
* Escalate and work closely with product vendors to support the technical environment
* Actively identify technical innovations and emerging capabilities related to hybrid cloud solutions; develop expertise in innovative technologies
* Responsible for ensuring the satisfactory completion of technical work and/or projects

Requirements

* Requires a Masters degree or a minimum of 15 years of IT experience in roles with progressive responsibilities
* Must have at least 6 years of overall experience supporting cloud software/platform solutions
* Must have at least 6 years of supporting IT transition and migration projects
* Must have performed cloud migrations to Amazon Web Services; AWS Solution Architect Associate is preferred
* Strong scripting/programing skills in Powershell
* Experience with government security process and documentation requirements such as FEDRAMP, Trusted Internet Connections (TIC), System Security Plans (SSPs), Authority to Operate (ATO), etc.
* Must have experience with Identity and Access Management solutions; Okta experience preferred
* Must have experience with application and infrastructure change, release and configuration management best practices
* Able to think logically and analytically in a problem-solving environment
* Ability to work in a matrixed and collaborative environment
* Requires exceptional oral and written communication skills
* Capacity to gain a thorough knowledge of the relevant specialty area
* Willing to continuously update personal IT skills and knowledge
* General networking experience is also required
