Smartronix Inc., a Premier Amazon Web Services Consulting Partner, Microsoft Gold partner and Google Cloud Platform Premier Partner, is currently seeking a Cloud consultant to support our thriving cloud services business unit. We're looking for candidates with a passion for consulting, technology, transformation - with the ability to understand and assess new technologies and understand their applicability and impact to enterprises.

Cloud Consultants will lead engagements for a number of high profile customers. Ideal candidates have consulting-relevant experience including: conducting structured quantitative and qualitative analysis, developing cloud strategies, project management, and consultative, collaborative problem-solving. Cloud consultant professionals provide skills and experience related to cloud services and technologies, and they apply a business and technology-focused model for delivering IT services in a utility-like fashion.

Core Responsibilities:

* Work effectively within a delivery-centric professional services team
* Clearly communicate with other team members, management and customers
* Support delivery of enterprise-wide transformation programs
* Assess and manage risks and issues and making adjustments to the project as needed
* Analyze legacy applications and systems for cloud opportunities
* Apply a solid understanding of cloud services, infrastructure and technologies to help clients develop innovative solutions
* Demonstrate cloud services functionality and support POC implementations
* Build or participate in the development of migration roadmaps and governance strategies
* Lead consulting and planning efforts through the initial phases of large scale migrations
* Develop detailed design documentation and plans for target landing zones, identity management, operations tooling, security capabilities, managed sandbox, and other shared services
* Support sales and business development technical functions as necessary
* Maintain skills as a cloud consulting practitioner to ensure continued market and client relevance
* Elevate Smartronix brand and presence in the marketplace (e.g. thought leadership, contributing to offering development)
* Support the development of account plans to build long-term relationships with customers and identify new opportunities
* Focus on the client, their mission, and remaining flexible to their needs
* Review and collaborate on recommendations and designs with other Smartronix SMEs
* Foster internal team relationships through collaboration and workshop development
* Bring strong written and verbal communication skills to the role
* Produce clean, high-quality technical documentation
* Achieve and maintain AWS, Azure and/or GCP certification levels

Required Skills

Basic Qualifications:

* Candidate should have strong cloud ecosystem knowledge
* Understanding of AWS and Microsoft cloud services
* Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
* An ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner
* Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
* Self-motivated, adaptable, able to prioritize tasking
* Ability to travel 25-50%

Required Experience

* 4 year degree required or additional 5 years of related work experience accepted in lieu of degree
* Ability to obtain a public trust clearance required
