We are seeking a Senior Engineer/Architect with a deep understanding of VMware, vRealize technology in converged/hyper-converged environments, This role will be responsible for implementing and expanding vRealize environments.We support a remote work environment 3 days per week, and seeking and individual that could commit to working onsite in Lincolnshire, IL the other 1-2 days per week.

The "must haves" to be successful in this role are; expertise in VMWare vRealize Suite (vRA and vRO) Automation in an enterprise environment. Installing, configuring and maintaining a scalable and high availability vRA virtual environment utilizing VMware vRealize suite and experience in scripting, AWS experience is preferred but not required.

o Strong foundational infrastructure skills, including architecture principles and design patterns of distributed systems in private and public cloud (VMWare and AWS).

o Hand-on experience automating configuration management and deploying PaaS solutions in private and public cloud (AWS) using any of the following IaC tool: Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation, Docker, etc.

o Scripting skills using any of the following: PowerShell, PowerCLI, Python, JSON, JavaScript, etc. Experience working with REST APIs is a big plus.

o Hands-on experience designing, building, maintaining, and securing AWS microservices, IaaS and PaaS solutions for highly available business critical cloud-based systems.

o Support global organization as an infrastructure automation and cloud

Education and Certifications

o Required years of Infrastructure Experience: 8+
