Designs, implements, and maintains the organization's application systems and/or IT infrastructure for complex systems. Provides an architectural framework for information system development, maintenance, and enhancement efforts. Understands user and process requirements and ensures those requirements can be achieved through high quality deliverables. Works closely with developers and engineers to develop road maps for applications, align development plans, and to ensure effective integration among information systems and the IT infrastructure. Ensures that solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry and company standards as well as emerging business requirements. Understands the interactions between systems, applications, and services within the environment, and evaluate the impact of changes or additions for complex systems. Analyzes systems and perform usability testing to ensure performance and reliability, enhance scalability, and meet security requirements. May assist less experienced peers.OverviewManTech is seeking highly skilled individuals to join our Stafford, VA team that are familiar with transitioning existing information architectures from on-premises, standalone private servers to cloud and hybrid enterprise environments in order to establish core service oriented architectures capable of providing services such as platform, infrastructure, software, data, storage, and security services. General Responsibilities· SME Responsibilities to transition existing on-premises infrastructure to a cloud architecture· Current Infrastructure could include, but not limited to, physical/virtual servers, workstations, storage, networks, encryption technologies, software, databases, and other unique program of record services· Perform analysis of current infrastructure and business processes· Work with current and identify future customers to ensure their mission needs will be met with minimal impact during transition· Focus on integrating the services defined in the MCIEE Blueprint· Migrate or re-engineer database design per requirements of analyst tools Mandatory Responsibilities· This position requires an active DoD TS/SCI Clearance (may require obtaining a polygraph)· Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)· Amazon Web Services Cloud certification is required· Hands-on cloud architect/SME capable of entire lifecycle transition to cloud technology·
