Summary:

Neuberger Berman is looking for a Cloud Architect that will be responsible for identifying and meeting internal customer requirements within our Azure environment. The individual will play a strategic role in architecting solutions and deployment of environments including the front-end platforms, servers, storage, virtual solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud computing and technology systems, as well as experience designing and transferring applications to the cloud. This leader should be self-motivated, have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to work within this team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

* Lead the architecture and implementation of cloud (Azure) technology projects for both the development and infrastructure teams
* Research, recommend and implement new cloud technologies and standards, product and tool testing that support the organizational cloud based transformation process
* Partner with the CISO and the security team to ensure the secure governance and operations of the Azure environment and support the implementation of best-of-breed security technologies
* Engage and manage vendors (existing and future)
* Partner with business and technology leaders to address complex solutions and provide thoughtful design decisions.
* Oversee the ongoing administration and operations of the server and cloud technologies, including recommendations and implementation of operational improvements
* Create and maintain design and operations documentation

Requirements:

* Experience with Azure deployments, technical and security architecture
* Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Client/Server, O365, AD & SCCM)
* Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure)
* Excellent communication & presentation skills
* Capacity to effectively manage multiple projects and balance competing demands
* Ability to think strategically and act operationally in a fast paced dynamic environment
* Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field
* Minimum 10 years with the design, implementation and operations of an Microsoft Enterprise solutions
* 3-5 years' experience in the design, implementation and operations of cloud technologies (Azure) technologies
* PowerShell and other scripting languages (Infrastructure as code)
