Job Overview As a Cloud Security Engineer at Qualcomm, your responsibilities will be to drive the Infrastructure Security for our IaaS, PaaS and Container solutions. This will include working across multiple public Cloud Providers and our on-premise Cloud solutions. We are looking for individuals that will drive innovation and transform our IT infrastructure while providing secure and agile solutions in order to enable our business stakeholders to deliver to market. Our expectation is that this candidate will have the ability to identify and drive the technical solutions and security to help mitigate the exposure to security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks within our cloud platforms. " id="hdnMinimumQualifications" />Bachelors degree and 7+ years Networked Systems-related work experience OR 9+ years Networked Systems-related work experience without a bachelors degree.

Preferred Qualifications 6+ years experience in the cybersecurity, IT, or engineering fields; with at least 2 years in a security engineer role Strong understanding of security controls/services in public cloud environments (AWS or GCP) Experience in threat detection, monitoring, log management, data analysis Proficient with a modern programming/scripting language such as Python, Go, or Ruby Experience with VMWare solutions such as NX, vCenter, and VRA Experience with DNS technologies Systems Administration experience on large scale Experience with large distributed solutions delivery in Hybrid Cloud Environments Must be able to work both independently and as a team Must have strong communication skills both written and verbal Education Requirements Bachelors degree and 7+ years Networked Systems-related work experience OR 9+ years Networked Systems-related work experience without a bachelors degree.
