Job Description

Create Monitoring architecture for each AWS tech stack.

* Determine the right monitoring patterns and tools.
* Determine the key metrics at each tech stack. Partner with the monitoring tools vendors to ensure integration of tools in the correct manner, including use of any addins / plugins and that they are all correctly configured.
* Partner with performance team to both tune configurations to ensure right metrics are reporting and also to ensure minimal performance overhead from tool instrumentation.
* Build dashboards, alerts and custom scripting in AppDynamics and Splunk
* Partner with technology group to certify the tools & addins for AWS integration
* Build monitoring learnings and understanding to Prod Mgmt. and help them establish their run-time monitoring needs
* Review Customer's application architecture running on AWS Services to identify opportunities for automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration management options

* Provide knowledge transfer of AWS Services automation architecture design and strategy through facilitated discussions covering infrastructure as code, including templated infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
* Identify cloud-native and APN Partner solutions for unique automation requirements, if any
