Job Description

Overview

The Clinical Application Analyst II has Clinical licensure and experience that is required when working with applications that involve high risk scenarios such as medication management, oncology and clinical capacity management. Possess knowledge of the functions and applications of information systems and are responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting clinical, ancillary, and capacity management systems to efficiently and effectively assist with the goals of fulfilling business objectives while aligning with risk mitigation. Actively participates in development work groups, performing project management functions and mentoring team members.

The Clinical Applications Analyst II must be able to complete complex tasks and large or multiple projects with minimal direction. They require organizational and time management skills to manage multiple concurrent projects of varying size and complexity, to ensure they are accomplished within the required timeline and meet project expectations. Provision of 24/7 on call support required.

Qualifications

Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and licensure in clinical area - RN, RPh, RD, RRT, PA or Pharm.D. required. Three to five years professional clinical experience in the field of licensure required. A minimum of less than one year of project implementation and/or support experience, including some segment of the system development life cycle or project management. Certification in Microsoft, project management or equivalent highly preferred.
