CHB IT Business Analyst

NJLocalITRef.: ML-217523Maersk has a great opportunity for a CHB IT Business Analyst for our Customs House Brokerage team. This role directly reports to the CHB IT Application Development Manager. This role will be responsible for writing statements of work, other business requirements documentation, and quality assurance testing for NAM CHB IT. This includes, but is not limited to customer implementations and integrations, strategic improvement projects, tactical improvement projects, and internal system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

* Participate in project meetings to define requirements
* Write detailed statements of work with well-defined project requirements
* Define project objective, scope and gather prerequisite documentation for select projects.
* Perform quality assurance testing for projects prior to deployment to production.
* Communicate frequently with, but not limited to, customer and internal stakeholder and project resources.
* Create documentation for projects, including, but not limited to, end user guides.

Travel, as necessary, to on site customer and internal project meetings.

Who we are looking forEducation and Experience

* BA / BS preferred
* 5+ years of Supply Chain (Customs brokerage preferred) Business Analyst experience

Technical Skills and Competencies Required

* Proficient understanding of Customs Brokerage, Supply Chain, and Logistic industries
* Excellent written communication skills, including ability to clearly explain complex requirements.
* Ability to switch focus quickly when priorities shift.
* Ability to convey, receive and share information to ensure mutual understanding internally and externally across all levels
* Good working knowledge of MS Office products (Work, Excel, Powerpoint, Project).
* Ability to quickly adapt and work with new software
* Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the industry and market dynamics, products, services, systems and business processes
