Job Description:

As a CCPA Business UAT Lead, you will be responsible for the development, coordination and execution of testing for the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) product being developed. The candidate will work with the product owner, the IT teams and other User Acceptance Testing (UAT) managers to develop appropriate test scripts that meet the needs of testing key functions of the product. The candidate will also participate in the execution of those test scripts and creation of status reporting to management. The role will have the opportunity to be directly involved in the design of the product to ensure clear understanding of testing, and to in groups with senior management on the discussions around CCPA.

Consumer and Community Banking Data Management (CCBDM) owns a suite of automated tools (mData) that ensure data is available, appropriate and good so users have confidence consuming data internally as well as reporting externally to regulators. User Acceptance Testing team for mData is responsible for ensuring the features and functions provide by mData tool meet business requirements and providing outstanding experience for our application users.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Should be able to work in fast paced agile environment, supporting the testing for multiple projects simultaneously


* Should be well-versed with using ALM, Zephy, Jira & Microsoft office tools - for test execution and defect management


* Responsible for the creation and delivery of key deliverables: Test Strategies, Test Execution Schedule, Test Plans, Test Conditions, Test Scripts, Test Coverage Traceability, Daily Status Report, Entrance/Exit Documents and Defect Analysis/Lessons Learned


* Should be able to identify the appropriate data for testing, and work on data conditioning needs


* Should be able to support internal and external teams for integrated testing needs, to support all aspects of User


* Should be able to support Pilot, and Production validation testing, if needed


* Excellent defect management skills are a must


* Knowledge of all phases in the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC)


* Prior knowledge of Oracle, Hadoop or Teradata SQL is a plus - DB testing will be a part of testing needs


* Participate with project closure activities


* Ability to work independently and in a lead capacity on multiple projects


* Ability to work weekends and evenings as required to execute project deliverables



Work with the appropriate product owners, business subject matter experts and SCRUM teams to:

* Determine JIRA stories are captured clearly and acceptance criteria are defined clearly


* Determine acceptable entry and exit criteria from phase to phase


* Review Functional/Regression coverage for each Release/Phase scope item, including traceability matrix, and identify/create the data required for testing


* Facilitate resolution and communication of cross-impacting defects and decisions


* Plan and execute end to end testing including cross-impacted applications


* Assist SCRUM teams in the identification, reproduction and remediation of defects


* Assess and revise test execution priority and inclusivity based on defect remediation, scope addition, test execution results and/or change requests


* Works with Product team on defect resolution / client impact


* Create and report a detail status on the progress of one or more projects at agreed upon intervals


* Assist with implementation readiness and weekend command center activities or test coordination when needed



Qualifications

* Requires 5 or more years user acceptance or quality assurance testing experience, business system analyst role or equivalent project experience
* Minimum 3 years of experience with ALM/Zephyr and JIRA tools
* Minimum 1 year of experience using or writing any SQL queries
* Intermediate to Advanced MS Word, MS PPT and MS Project skills
* Experience working with data management and workflow management solutions preferred
* Ability to create and manage MS Excel macros used for reporting preferred
* Strong attention to detail, follow-through and results oriented
* Independent worker, fast learner, & a self-starter
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as effective meeting facilitation and presentation skills

Preferred Skills

* 7+ years of work experience in Financial Services industry or Data management space with hands on building out Data Management/Data Governance Framework


* Manual testing experience is a must. Automated testing experience would be a big plus


* Experience with testing automation tool such as Prana Automation Framework would be a big plus


* Should be open to learn new skills


* Experience with Agile/Hybrid methodologies preferred

Degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or related field
