* Job: 20954-MCAR * Location: US-MA-Natick * Department: Product Development
Join our group to develop the next generation of simulation technologies for model-based design. In this role you will design and implement features for simulator engine/solvers, for Simulink. Simulink is our platform product, an integration platform for model based design. Your work will include development of new features and advance algorithms in Simulink for better modeling, fast simulation and deep analysis of systems. Your work will be widely used in areas such as automated driving, control system design, fly by wire and many more.
Exercise your mastery of software engineering and other engineering fields to add new features in the Simulink engine and solvers for model-based design. Participate in all facets of software development including:
* Architect, design and implement high-quality scalable software features * Participate in architecture and design reviews * Re-architect existing software to accommodate new requirements * Collaborate with cross-functional product development teams * Invent and develop advanced simulation algorithms for fast simulation and analysis
* Knowledge of C++ * A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree) is required.
M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Applied math or other related Engineering fields
* Excellent C/C++ coding skills and solid understanding of object oriented design principles * Experience with numerical agorithms, control theory is a plus. * Experience with MATLAB, Simulink and Stateflow is a plus
