POSITION FUNCTION & SCOPE

The IT Business Systems Manager will oversee the design, development, and support for a subset of the business applications used to run Del Monte Foods. This specific role is to oversee the applications in support of our Sourcing and Procurement business processes.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Create positive impacts to the Organization
* Contribute and deliver against short and medium term business plans.
* Work on problems and issues that are numerous, undefined and difficult to ascertain.
* Drive requirement gathering efforts and provide input to new technical solutions, processes or business plans.
* Communicate and Influence business partners
* Manage vendor relationships and communications regarding operations, programs and processes.
* Explain policies, practices, and procedures of a business process or technical solution to cross-functional teams.
* Regularly work with senior stakeholders across the company to agree and accept new concepts practices, and approaches.


* Leadership
* Act independently to determine methods and procedures for achieving objectives.
* Manage complex initiatives involving large cross-functional teams.


* Application Architecture, Delivery, and Maintenance
* Work through established technology partners and define the application architecture strategy and landscape.
* Maintain a broad understanding of the entire software landscape within the company.
* Ensure the effective implementation of the defined architecture and landscape, and enforce compliance with the architectural strategy.
* Oversee the design and build of technology solutions to meet business requirements.
* Through coordination with the IT Operations team, assist with establishing effective monitoring and management of the application architecture.
* Provide high level expertise for troubleshooting and resolving software issues that cannot be resolved by the IT Operations team.
* Provide oversight and governance to the operational support activities on a daily basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor degree required; advanced degree a plus.
* SAP certification is a plus.
* At least 6-8 years of experience working with business systems.
* A minimum of 4 years SRM consulting.
* Two end to end implementations of SAP SRM.
* Design, configuration, and troubleshooting experience with SAP SRM/MM.
* Product knowledge of SAP PP/MM/MRO/QM/APO is a plus.
* IT project management methodology coursework or certifications.
* Expert knowledge of sourcing and procurement business processes in the consumer packaged goods industry.
* Periodic travel depending on project demands.
