But if you#re up for the challenge, we#re on the lookout for amazing professionals to join our elite teams # talented individuals who can continue our high level of care. # \The Business Systems Analyst III provides senior level knowledge of database management and id the gatekeeper and manager of all electronic information passing through CHLA clinical and administrative systems. The Business Systems Analyst III will also create and maintain Oracle and other database tables, scripts, and reports to support business intelligence throughout the company. Responsible for the Information Systems Asset management system and process starting with design to development, implementation, oversight and support. The individual should have 5-10 years experience in software programming and at least 5 years experience with integration and interfaces in a healthcare environment. They must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written. The individual must be a self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills who is willing to take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution with little or no supervision. The Business Systems Analyst III must also demonstrate a commitment to maintaining superior technical services to support patient care. # Minimum Experience Required: # 4 - 6 years of demonstrated and successful design and development experience with application integration and interfaces, implementation and architecture # Proven ability to design and develop (5+ years exp.) # Proven ability to troubleshoot functional and system issues. (5+ years exp.) # 4+ years experience with application integration architectures and technologies # 3 years experience developing detailed design specifications and test plans # 3 years Java coding (vs. 1.3.1 +) # Excellent verbal and written communications skills are mandatory # Minimum Education/Training Required: # Bachelor#s degree from an accredited university in Computer Sciences, Business or combination of experience and study is desirable # Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: # 2 years experience in a healthcare environment, preferably with integration and interfaces # 2 years experience with HL7 # Strong working knowledge of various Unix environments # Proven ability to lead and deliver projects on schedule # Broad knowledge of scripting languages, integration protocols, and databases # Ability to work in a team environment. Will be required to mentor/teach junior level employees
