Position Summary:

Incumbent provides routine informatics support for Epic EMR and Ancillary Departmental Systems incvolving Anesthesia and Inpatient Areas. Incumbent provides support related to Device Integration as well as Bedside IT support for a number of different applications for Clinical end-users.

Salary Range:

Rate Minimum $23.75 Midpoint $36.23 Maximum $48.71

Required Qualifications:

4+ years desktop support experience in a networked business environment

Ability to independently problem solve Desktop issues

Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience

Extensive experience with supporting and troubleshooting Windows 7 as well as Windows Server 2012 and up

Extensive understanding of Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of operating system internals, file systems, functions of hardware components, and how hardware and software components work together to form a computer system

Must carry a pager/phone and provide on-call support for IT related issues

Prior experience supporting and configuring biomedical device interfacing to documentation systems

Prior experience supporting clinical end users in a rapidly changing environment

Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface with internal and/or external customers

Thorough understanding of Microsoft Active Directory

Understanding of Networking terminology and troubleshooting

Willingness and ability to work occasional weekends and evenings

Working knowledge of Capsule Technology Data Capture software and iSirona DeviceConX Integration software

Working knowledge of wireless network configurations and limitations related to a clinical environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or other healthcare related field with course work in systems analysis and development

Prior experience supporting Biomedical Device Integration

Prior experience supporting end users in the Clinical environment
