Responsibilities

* Demonstrated experience with eliciting/facilitating requirements, through requirements meetings, development of wireframes/story boards and user stories, and presenting a thorough understanding of the business needs to the development team and stakeholders.
* Performs analysis of industry standards, new innovations, technical data, and/or client laboratory and quality assurance procedures and legacy systems producing solutions and analysis documentation.
* Work effectively with teammates; collaborates and coordinates on shared work products and related tasks across business analysts to ensure best solution.
* Provides input from high-level to detailed estimates for new requirements, change request and defect analysis.
* Participate in team agile tasks and sessions such as unit testing, story estimation, sprint planning and retrospectives.
* Perform analysis of data and documents for legacy system migration; review and evaluate discrepancies with business stakeholders to resolve exceptions.
* Conducts unit testing of document and data transformations, configuration and UI functionality to confirm requirements have been met.
* Supports the documentation of product deliverables including, project plans, system configurations, gap analysis, stage gate reviews and decisions/ action item status.
* Reviews plans and deliverables; provides feedback for improvements.
* Support O&M issue analysis and resolution; document potential design solutions, process modification or prevention strategies.
* Support user training, user manual/guides and provide technical support to the system's user community.
* Clearly communicates ideas and solutions to non-technical people; builds relationships with stakeholders and serves as an advocate for client goals.

Qualifications

* Must be eligible for an NIH public trust clearance.
* Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
* 3-6 years of experience performing business analysist tasks such as requirements gathering, demo/presentation, wireframe/prototyping, gap analysis and training.
* Use of JIRA and Master Control experience a plus.
* Agile and Waterfall Methodology
* Excellent communications and interpersonal skills and experience in client management, with sensitivity to complex organizational structures, varying cultures, and potentially conflicting goals.
* Strong business process and data analytics experience
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
* NIH or HHS quality assurance domain experience desirable
