What You'll Get to Do:
The Business/Systems Manager have management oversight for an Enterprise IT System Overhaul Team. Conducts analysis on work procedures and recommends changes to improve the effectiveness of the organization's processes/procedures. Able to perform studies on ways to increase efficiency. Collects and analyzes quantitative and qualitative data including financial and cost data, builds process models, develops solutions or alternative practices, collects and organizes information from a variety of sources, and recommends process, procedures, or organizational changes. Assesses information and sources to ensure data collected is relevant to the core issue. Identifies issues or gaps and devises appropriate next steps.
More About the Role:
You will provide guidance, train, and review work of less senior staff. Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Prepares reports and/or presentations. Identify and suggest ideas for reducing effort spent on data management and analysis by using automation or by process optimization. Develop communication products on a variety of topics for both internal and external customers. Perform and document procedures for data preparation including data cleaning, standardization, and analysis. Implement bridging solutions for the enterprise and other communication tools. Assess communication effectiveness and summarize survey reports determining the impact of communications on perception and expectations. Performs a variety of tasks. A high degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Requires Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science, mathematics, statistics, business, engineering, or physical science or equivalent and 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Requires broad management knowledge to lead a project team and mastery understanding and ability to apply standards, principles, theories, and technical concepts.
Requires active SECRET Clearance.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Data Analysis, Problem Solving. Knowledge of Navy Personnel data and business rules.
Ability to work as a team member in a diverse group; ability to deal effectively with both Government and contracted workforce members.
