You will work multi-functional with our dedicated Product Management, Product Development, and other functions to understand customer/business use cases and requirements and facilitate negotiation of designs and solutions in response. You will help estimate the cost of building and present options with pros/cons analysis for business partners to decide. Bring your knowledge of IT, business operations, computer networking technical skills, policies and procedures to the table. Be dedicated, demonstrate customer service skills and be comfortable interacting outside the department with our business partners across the enterprise.

We expect you to have a high degree of business proficiency, professional maturity, and patience. Critical thinking and working in unfamiliar areas is expected. Technical acumen is highly desirable.

What will you do?

* Build and Nurture relationships across functions in the company, e.g., Product Management, Product Development, and other functional teams necessary for success.
* Work with both business and technical partners to understand customer use cases/requirements and new product offerings.
* Develop and document complex solutions inspired by use cases and requirements taking into account current processes, systems, etc. already established. When needed, provide multiple solutions, with pro/con analysis.
* Facilitate negotiations between partners to fine-tune solution in an iterative manner.
* Perform Impact Analysis including IT estimations and recommendations based on the proposed infrastructure, GTM strategy, IT systems being used, integration points with products and/or services working closely with internal/external partners.
* Present End to End system process flows supporting customer use cases.
* Prioritize requests with the business and across organizations as needed, meet or exceed IT Service Level Agreements (SLA)
* Develop a technical understanding of F5 Product portfolio, how customers use F5 products (high level customer use cases), system infrastructure and processes.
* Initiate communication of IT Strategy to the business and Business Strategy to IT
* Maintain project roadmaps for our business units
* Design, document, write, and execute test scripts for UAT
* Facilitate and coordinates E2E user acceptance testing (UAT) across our enterprise to release new functionality to support new product offerings
* Assist in driving internal team process change
* Assist in development of new process documentation
* Facilitate training for new processes
* Work in one or more scrum teams practicing the Agile development methodology.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Curiosity, propensity and drive to understand the whole system and its interdependencies in order to craft optimal responses to new efforts.
* Proven track record of solving complex, multi-systems business process and technical problems in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to bring multiple partners, potentially with different points of view, and act as a broker and facilitator to arrive at an acceptable solution/design. Comfortable questioning and challenging others during the solution/design parts.
* Track record of being able to construct epics, user stories, and other artifacts describing the requirements and features in an actionable manner.
* Demonstrated ability to generate reasonably accurate cost and effort estimations.
* Experience working for or working with networking products, such as load balancers, firewall systems, federated authentication systems and/or SaaS-based businesses.
* Knowledge of networking solutions and technologies.
* Able to understand business functionality and translate it into application requirements
* Extraordinary written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to quickly solve problems that may arise in work products
* In depth understanding of the various software development lifecycles (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
* Excellent meeting facilitation skills and influence to drive groups to decisions
* Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize
* Excellent ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, within a team
* Advanced knowledge of the end-to-end business processes in the disciplines assigned
* Advanced knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem and Change Management
* Advanced knowledge of business analysis standard methodologies including documentation requirements for large bodies of work

How do you qualify?

* Hold BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience in IT related field
* Former technical program management experience a plus
* Former software engineering and/or product management experience a plus
* Showcase 5+ years working experience as a business analyst or equivalent in a fast paced environment.
