The AWS Global Marketing Operations team is looking for a customer focused, analytically and technically skilled Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to join the team.
The candidate will be responsible for creating a dashboard/reporting infrastructure using data analysis and visualization tools (Tableau or Quicksight) to present critical data for decision-making across AWS Marketing.
The role will require an end-to-end understanding of data and reporting; This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities as well as outstanding business acumen. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and enjoying working with large data sets. The successful candidate will be also an expert on creating advanced dashboards, connecting datasources through APIs, outstanding SQL skills and also passionate about presenting data in a very nice and easy-to-digest way.
* Since this is a new function, the successful candidate will develop a brand new dashboard for Budget and Headcount management, connecting the necessary datasources and working with other departments to remove roadblocks * Build strong relationship with key stakeholders to adjust visualizations and create additional reports to support decision making * Extract data from large-scale databases to provide actionable insights into current delivery performance, and ad hoc investigations into future improvements or innovations * Gather data to identify customer insights; and manipulate, synthesis and model solutions to complex business problems * Collaborate with other teams (SFDC Developers, other BI teams) and among our own team (Marketing Operations) to improve and automate processes, integrate data and create effective reporting.
