Job Description

Each day, hundreds of thousands of developers make billions of transactions worldwide on our cloud. They are harnessing the power of Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enable innovative applications, websites, and businesses. However, there are always a few people that try to take unfair advantage of a good thing...

Are you interested in taking your skills and career to the next level, while having fun and fighting fraud in the cloud? How would you like to be the driving force for developing the data and insights strategy for our global AWS Investigations Fraud Team? You will be part of the Analytics Team (Data Engineer; Business Analysts) that is central in shaping the definition and execution of the long-term data and insights strategy for AWS Investigations. We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer to support a series of evolving programs to improve the way we think about and manage investigating fraud on AWS. This is a highly visible opportunity to provide custom-built solutions and services that will increase the productivity of the AWS Investigators function using data and visualizations.

Responsibilities Include:

* Interface with business customers, gathering requirements and delivering complete reporting solutions.
* Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.
* Use industry standard analytical techniques to analyze and validate data to ensure high data quality; deliver actionable insights into AWS Fraud Investigations performance and opportunities to improve.
* Team with Data Engineering to develop scalable data pipelines.
* Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
* Partner with multiple teams/departments (AWS Fraud; AWS Investigations; Customer Service) to translate business problems into requirements for analysis.
