Job Description

At Amazon we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people. If you'd like to help us build the place to find and buy anything online, this is your chance to make history. We are a centralized Project Management team supporting the WWCS HR and the organization's key goals and initiatives. While a major focus of the WWCS HR PM team is to track, monitor and report on programs & projects, our primary objective is leading the execution of these programs, focusing on the strategic outcomes and expected benefits. Our team understands the key WWCS HR network priorities, incorporates program-specific and/or domain knowledge, and can effectively manage traditional PMO activities, including risk assessment/mitigation, establishing and managing project schedules, cost and scope.

Amazon WWCSHR PMO team is looking for an experienced BI Engineer who has experience working with large datasets and distributed computing technologies. The candidate relishes working with large volumes of data, enjoys the challenge of highly complex technical contexts, and, above all else, is passionate about analytics. He/she is an expert with data modeling, ETL design and business intelligence tools such as AWS QuickSight, SQL, Tableau, Python Dash etc. He/she passionately partners with the customers to identify strategic opportunities in the field of data engineering. He/she is a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big (while paying careful attention to detail) and enjoys working in a fast-paced team that continuously learns and evolves on a day to day basis. The candidate should also have experience in web development to design, build and maintain custom on premise and cloud web solutions and cross system integrations. This includes e2e designing, developing, testing, deploying and troubleshooting solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other relevant web development technologies.
