Overview

The Business Intelligence Analyst II-Servicing Analytics is responsible for supporting the functional and technical needs of the Servicing Analytics team, maintaining a data governance infrastructure, and assisting other groups within Servicing Analytics with production reporting when needed.

Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES

* Maintain a data governance program including full documentation
* Create and monitor service requests with the enterprise Data Administration groups
* Maintain the Servicing Analytics web portal and file structures
* Monitor the production reporting environment, including server shares, virtual machines, and batches
* Utilize best practices of data analysis and validation to ensure data results are accurate
* Perform reporting, ad hoc data mining, and analytical functions as needed to support information requests from all Servicing departments as needed
* Maintain internal partnerships with Servicing, Server Support, Windows Networking, Data Administration, SharePoint Support, and other IT support groups
* Represent Servicing Analytics in enterprise projects
* Summarize findings, develop recommendations and present analyses to management in a clear, concise, convincing, and actionable format

Qualifications

Knowledge

* Enterprise IT infrastructure
* Metadata creation and maintenance
* Relational datasets
* Data governance and data architecture
* Reporting
* Data mining
* Data analysis techniques

Skills

* Proficiency with SQL (Base SAS preferred)
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Ability to interact collaboratively with internal customers
* Effective written and verbal presentation skills
* Proactive and detail-oriented
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* Capable of managing multiple and varied projects, including ability to coordinate and balance numerous tasks in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, meeting deadlines
* Demonstrated quantitative skills

Education

* Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required
* Master's Degree in MIS, Finance, Economics, or Business preferred

Experience

* 2-4 years experience querying large multi-table datasets and data presentation required
* 2-3 years experience in consumer loan / lease portfolio servicing analysis preferred
