Job Description

Overview

The BI Analyst will be responsible for matching customer requirements with SEKO processes and operating systems to fulfil customers' business needs. The BI will also be responsible for measuring SEKO's performance and perform analysis for improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

* Work closely with the Strategic Client Sales and Operational groups and customers to define and document Critical Business
* Gather all data required to complete Project Charter and Project
* Develop Performance Metrics. Analyze said data to improve best practices. Deliver Metrics to the customer as set forth in
* Contribute to the overall success of Proposal & Pricing Initiatives through Process
* Standardization and Data Analysis.
* Develop Process Maps for agents/SP. Train agents/SP's to these processes (SOP's), and monitor process
* Work closely with Strategic Client group and customers to develop best solutions per
* <25% travel
* Perform Operational Process Reviews (internal/ external) for continuous
* Comply with SEKO's C-TPAT Security
* Problem Solving: Anticipates, identifies and defines problems. Seeks root causes.
* Teamwork: Collaborates with other members from the organization to gather reporting requirements.
* Thoroughness: Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications

* B.A or B.S. in engineering, logistics, or computer science.
* Strong airfreight operational understanding.
* Technical skills to perform file transfers, database lookups, and extraction of data to perform testing and validate test results.
* Strong understanding of airfreight software, how it works, how it should work.
* Demonstrated ability to document change management and document release notes to a diverse field organization.
* Expert in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, )
* Proficiency with MS Access or other comparable database analysis software.
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
* Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization and with all levels within the organization.
* Basic understanding of relational database structures
* SQL experience
* Advanced Microsoft Excel
* Familiarity with one of the following
* Microsoft Visual Studio SSRS
* Tableau
* Crystal Reports
* Microsoft Power BI
* Other related data visualization software


* Previous logistics industry experience is a plus
