GENERAL SUMMARY & SCOPE

The Business Intelligence Analyst II will be responsible for defining business needs and helping to develop innovative solutions that meet business reporting objectives. This individual will serve as the liaison between IT and the business partners engaging in translating business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models. He/she will support projects through the solution development lifecycle and creating ad-hoc reports on an as needed basis.

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (*Essential Functions)

* Develop data models to support reporting and analytical needs
* Create reports and dashboards to measure and inform business partners on KPI's and metrics
* Partner with IT on data requirements needed to support the build of data models
* Partner with business teams to gather, document and maintain business requirements that will inform data modeling decisions
* Partner with business to determine information needs and identify system requirements to ensure the use of business intelligence applications enhance business decision making.

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Information Technology or Technical Programming
* 2-3 years of experience building data models, reports and dashboards
* Experience in JAVA, SQL, C# and/or Python
* Experience building data visualizations using Tableau, Design Studio, Lumira, and other front end visualization tools
* Experience using SAP business object reporting tools and HANA Application
* Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
* Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines while using analytical and problem solving capabilities
* Ability to complete tasks in a high-pressure, fast-pace environment

PREFERRED OR SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

* Capability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms to business owners in a clear and concise manner
* Strong process and system acumen
* Knowledge of Merchandising, Planning and Inventory in a retail environment
* Detailed and deadline oriented
* Organized, dedicated and reliable with a high degree of efficiency

WORKING CONDITIONS

* Travel - Minimal ~ 10%
* Ability to work long hours and weekends during critical periods
