Title: Business Development & Capture Manager (SME)
Location: Alexandria, VA, Upper Marlboro, MD, potential remote
* Develop and sustain an efficient an effective business development process from identification through proposal submission and contract kickoff in support of Invictus' protege partner under the Mentor-Protege Program * Lead negotiations with industry partners to build teams in support of large complex procurements * Develop and manage partner and client relationships for current and future business opportunities * Support capture for complex and technical bids, including identifying and comprehending client requirements and buying patterns, developing complex technical solution options, and building a cost-competitive industry team that can deliver client impact through a winning bid * Additional duties may include: * Train and mentor protege staff on business development practices and processes * Document processes and support creation of templates * Develop a wide range of high-quality marketing materials to articulate protege's value proposition and service offerings
* Bachelor's degree required, with a minimum of five years business development experience in the federal sector * Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information proficiently * Superior problem solving, multi-tasking, and project management skills * Must have demonstrated ability and willingness to lead complex proposal efforts including response outline, win theme development, effective color team review coordination, subcontractor integration, document generation and management, compliance reviews, final formatting, price to win strategy, and price model development
