Job Summary

The Business Analyst - IT (ERP Systems) helps business units achieve their objectives by evaluating, designing, enhancing, and adapting solutions. As the liaison between IT and the business units, the role ensures IT projects are meeting deadlines, systems are configured for their best performance, and business units are helped with process optimization and new solution selections. The individual continuously works on achieving subject matter expertise in SAP systems, project management, release cycle management, and documenting problem resolution for future use.

Essential Functions

* Conduct internal business consulting
* Effectively prioritize, manage time and workload across tasks and role responsibilities
* Track and follow-up on topics/issues affecting ERP Systems
* Subject matter expertise in assigned focus area
* Problem and risk management (Define risk - incident / project) for focus area
* Establish self as point of contact for assigned business stakeholder such as Master Data, Tax, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain
* Perform ad-hoc work outside of normal business hours
* Execute tasks in a timely manner with awareness of impact on team members and other parts of the business
* Ask critical questions and provide relevant feedback when given tasks
* Integration testing and implementation of existing or new/ modified software modules
* Provision of qualified 2nd level support according to a defined service level
* Perform other duties as assigned

* Ability to understand functional business requests and translate them into technical requirements
* Ability to assess the impact of issues to appropriately escalate
* Ability to clearly document issues and communicate topics with associated stakeholders
* Adaptability to work efficiently in a global environment
* Ability to maintain professionalism and positive attitude when working with end business users/stakeholders
* Strong analytical skills

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

* German language skills
* Willingness to travel internationally

Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience

* BA/BS degree
* 4+ years of direct experience in substitution for a bachelor's degree

Preferred Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience

* Certifications like GSEC, Security+, ITIL
* Proficient in MS Office
* Experience in retail / grocery industry

Physical Job Requirements

* Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment, including the store(s), distribution center(s), warehouse(s), and/or corporate office(s) with the capability to switch job functions/roles quickly
* Ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) more than half the time
* Ability to maneuver cases of product (lift, move, carry, slide, etc.) up to 30 lbs.
* Ability to operate machinery and/or equipment that requires the constant use of hands/fingers/wrists
* Ability to spend more than half the time viewing computer monitors
* Ability to identify and distinguish between colors more than half the time

Travel Requirements

* This position commutes between stores, regional offices and/or distribution centers less than 25% of the time
* This position requires overnight domestic travel less than 25% of the time
* This position requires overnight international travel less than 25% of the time
* Anticipated travel will be by car, air, and/or train
