Job Description Summary

* Conduct Workshop- Periodically conduct workshops related process improvement, User Acceptance Testing and training sessions

Job Description

DETAILED ACCOUNTABILITIES

* Work with various levels of the organization to capture project goals, objectives, and the associated requirements.
* Primary focus will be to understand the business process flow, involved applications and data flow for end to end process.
* Work with business key stakeholders to determine various KPIs and data reporting needs for various levels
* Gather requirements for building external and internal data dashboards. Work with vendors and customer to understand data needs
* Understand various roles and responsibilities in business group for better data governance and data security
* Work with applications, master data management and development teams to understand data flow and data ownership
* Partner with the user community, to identify their business requirements; analyze business processes; analyze source data; produce functional specifications, data flows and business rules; and assist with the implementation of those specifications
* Work with various teams to generate one off point report for special request from business leaders
* Help drive process improvements and recommend best practices on the business platform; leverage your
* Drive the initiation, planning, requirements, design, test and post-production phases of the solution development life cycle
* Serve as point of contact for troubleshooting data related issues and coordinating with cross-functional teams
* Drive the periodic release cycles and work with business stakeholders to prioritize bugs and enhancements
* Provide project management support for CIOs initiatives and projects
* Analyze data through data mining and data auditing to provide actionable insights to business operations and contribute to setting data strategy
* Develop and track key metrics to identify opportunities for improvement, patterns and correlation in cases of complex data sets
* Document data flow between applications to educate business and development teams



JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Previous Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree or Professional Industry Designation
* 7+ years of relevant experience in implementing information technology projects
* 7+ years of IT work experience
* 5+ years of experience in business and SQL scripting
* Knowledge of ETL tools like Azure data factory, SAP data stewards and Mulesoft
* Or similar combination of education and experience

Targeted Competencies

* BA in Computer Science, Information Systems.
* Minimum 7 years of functional/technical experience with various business intelligence tools and data dashboards
* Past work experience working with development team at various levels. Working with onshore/offshore model is preferred
* Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, and methodology development
* Proven problem resolution and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
* Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize and adapt quickly to change in high pressure situations with minimal supervision required
* Excellent customer service skills with a demonstrated record of exceeding customer expectations
* Solid business acumen; ability to understand and anticipate business needs to provide appropriate solutions
* Strong team player with excellent listening, interpersonal, facilitation, written, oral and communication skills; ability to effectively communicate concepts in both technical and user-friendly language to management, peers, staff, and other employees so that issues and solutions are understood.
* Ability to work with external vendors to resolve issues and manage project initiatives
* Strong technical, problem resolution and analytical skills; able to multi task and prioritize effectively
* Experience working with cross-functional, dispersed teams
* Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex SQL statements to analyze data and create prototypes.
* Demonstrated Business Analyst work with large scale applications that may include CRM and ERP solution is preferred
* Experience with Hadoop data structures and familiarity with several software delivery methodologies preferred
* Advanced experience with Microsoft Power BI or any other equivalent BI tool
