Job Description

Barclays Capital Inc. seeks a Business Analyst for its New York, New York location.

Duties: Deliver process analysis and system enhancements for computer systems for range of banking stakeholders. Analyze user requirements, and test, maintain, modify, and monitor computer programs and systems. Coordinate system implementation and act as primary liaison between banking business users and technology development team. Develop, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards. Perform and coordinate requirements analysis, design, testing, deployment, and support phases of system development lifecycle (SDLC) using structured analysis, modeling and programming languages. Gather and document project requirements, survey and document current business processes, and recommend business process improvements. Assist users with resolving complex computer related problems. Review and analyze systems and performance indicators. Analyze data to identify business trends and facilitate integration among various systems. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and management. Provide training for Business Planning and Technology's tools and technologies to user groups. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and internal policies and standards.

Requirements: Minimum of Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, and two (2) years of experience as a Business Analyst or related position. Must have at least two (2) years of experience with the following: Business Objects and OLAP reporting tools; Git, CSS, and Java; Writing Business Requirement Documents; Developing test scenarios for digital experiences; Visio; Waterfall and agile methodologies.
