Salient CRGT seeks an experienced Senior Business Analyst for one of our leading Federal customers in Rockville, MD.

Job Responsibilities:

* Coordinates with business and technology teams, ascertains system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls
* Provides technical/functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, developing, and supporting systems. You should have the business knowledge and perspective of a particular business and the IT needs of that customer
* Requires knowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes, and work flows
* Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develops new and modified business information processing systems.
* Interfaces between systems architects/programmers and users located in a specialized area to ensure that information technology designs meet the needs of the end users within an organization.
* Documents product/service requirements and develops test procedures to ensure user requests are carried out.
* Interacts with testing requirements to ensure traceability and test coverage. Requires general-logic knowledge of system capabilities without necessarily the ability to program.

Required Qualifications

* Do you have a Bachelor's with 5+ years experience (or commensurate experience
* 2+ years experience working in an Agile environment
* Able to solicit and document system requirements from business stakeholders for high-paced technical agile development teams
* Able to assist in troubleshooting and documenting defects for O&M teams
* Write clear and simple user stories and acceptance criteria for peer review and sprint planning sessions
* Able to build and groom the product backlog for two week sprints
* Able to document workflows to assist the stakeholders and development team in understanding user stories
* Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust Clearance is required including for non-US Citizens residency in the United States a minimum of three (3) of the past five (5) years

Desired Qualifications

* Experience with creating mockups using a tool like Balsamiq
* Experience with JIRA and JIRA Agile
* Act as a scrum master for multiple agile teams
* Experience with DevOps
