Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Built-in-Test (BIT) Algorithm Developer to join the Multi-Function Radio Frequency System (MFRFS) Systems Engineering team in McKinney, TX.

The BIT Algorithm Developer will possess a track record of successfully developing Built-in-Test Diagnostics and Prognostics for advanced ground based radar systems. The BIT Algorithm Developer will have experience in requirements design, analysis, documentation, development and integration of Built-In test, diagnostics and prognostics for systems. This position includes supporting existing and new military programs.

Travel to support demonstrations and customer tests at US Government field test sites may be required.

This position can be a salary grade G08 or G09 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

This position will require an ACTIVE DoD security clearance.

Required Skills:

* 4+ years in Engineering with built-in-test algorithm design, emphasis on performing testability modeling using DSI's Express Testability model.
* Ability to develop requirements documentation for fault detection and fault isolation.
* Built-in-test algorithm diagnostics and prognostics development software in either Matlab, Python, or other programming languages such as C/C++.
* An ACTIVE DoD security clearance is required.

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Science or related STEM field.

Desired Skills:

* Use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques such as Neural Networks and Bayesian Belief Networks to develop advanced diagnostics and prognostics algorithms.
* Development of technical presentations and presenting to customers.
* Familiarity with radar systems design that includes assessing performance of the RF transmit/receive chain.
* Travel and work in remote test field environment
* Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Science or related discipline.
