As a Build and Release Engineer, you will work with a team that is responsible for maintaining and improving the code release pipeline for our web applications and automated processes. The DevOps team manages CI/CD pipeline, merging/branching, deployment, and other processes. Automation and improvement of the workflow of the developers. Assist with creation and implementation of CI/CD Pipelines and provide application support. The goal is to make changes flow as easily as possible from a developer's environment into production while maintaining stability as a platform. Deployment background in tools like, Jenkins, JIRA, New Relic, Git, BitBucket, SonarQube, and Jenkins.

Key Responsibilities:

* Continuous integration and deployment in multiple environments


* Management and documentation of deployment processes and automation


* Environment management to ensure all needs are covered for testing and development


* Communicating issues across teams


* Ensure builds are stable upon release


* Diagnosing and troubleshoot build problems


* Assist and support developers


* Development background in Java


* Development and deployment in cloud technologies



YOU MUST HAVE

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 10 years of Software Engineering experience
* At least 3 years of configuration management and engineering for web applications

WE VALUE

* Agile and DevOps development experience
* Scripting and automation skills in one or more of PowerShell
* Solid understanding of continuous integration best practices
* Must be self-driven and a team player with a solid work ethic
* Experience with automated build systems such as Octopus, or equivalent
* Experience with bug-tracking software
* Experience configuring and troubleshooting web applications
* Excellent communication skills
